Master Sonjunlange foresaw the coming of the Sith and warned the Jedi Concil of it. When they chose to ignore her warning, she went into hiding on her own. She was a master of the ancient jedi technique of Malachia. When the Sith finally found her, Darth Krayt thought that she might be able to help him remove the coral seeds from his system and revitalize his body. When she refused, he sent her to the prison planet of Ash until she might change her mind. He did not wish her to be tortured, broken, or killed in case she might be useful to him.
