Ara Soon was born into a legacy of military men. Her father never wanted a daughter. He wanted a son to carry on the family. When his wife died in child birth giving him a daughter, he decided to work with what fate had given him. Ara was raised to be a good soldier and that is exactly what she grew up to be.
Just like her father, Ara became a member of the Imperial army's elite spec forces. She had to fight even harder than the men that she trained with, because of the discrimination of her gender. She was determined that she would not only prove them wrong, but shove it back in their faces. She graduated top of her class and went pretty much directly in the field. Now, she is the head of her own unit of force reccon, The Phantom Brigade.
