Until the escape of Lexi Lar and Jarek Horne, Darth Taraxis was the warden of the prison world of Ash. He is a man of endless hunger for butchery and is very much a sadist. He enjoys causing death and suffering, and he is quite good at it. Unfortunately, his savage nature and bloodlust can at times become overwhelming and has in the past blinded him, which is one of the many reasons that he was placed in such an undesirable position.
Once the two escaped, along with the other handful of prisoners on their level, Darth Taraxis was given the mission to hunt down the Prophet of the Force, Jek R'all. He does not have the boy's name or description, but he knows that Jarek will lead him to the prophet and that is all that matters. He was given command of the Star Destroyer Scythe. He was also put on this mission working with the Grand Inquisitor Darth Koradyne. He was also given orders from Darth Farrous to kill Koradyne and the Dark Side's Prophet once they were no longer useful to the Sith.
