By Hutt standards, Drakka is considered to be puny, weak, and all and all unfit to be considered a proper Hutt. Additionally the shrewd Hutt has always seemed to have suffered from some sort of psychological disorder, a tragic flaw for Hutts; Drakka seems to almost exhibit a conscious and a moral compass that occasionally leads to somewhere other than his bank account. Drakka wasn’t per say cast out of the Hutts but was sent to oversee an insignificant holding on Ord Mantell. What not even the vast majority of the Hutts realize is that Drakka has made quite a name for himself as a very knowledgeable information broker, as well as a specialist in creating new identities for people – for a price. Drakka has developed quite a number of allies and enemies over the years.
While many Hutts would consider being sent to Ord Mantell as an exile and punishment, Drakka initially found it to be a test of his patience and ambition. As time passed by, Drakka has not only made a comfortable life for himself there, but he has kept the family business successful enough to keep from being replaced, and at the same time poorly enough to keep from really gaining any attention from his family or anyone else from Hutt space.
Drakka is quite the lover of fine music and fine food. He loves trying new foods from different cultures. Those few who have been invited to dine with him have found that their host spares no expense for chef nor supplies. One of the things that Drakka treasures the most is his major domo, Nawara Ven, a young female Twilek, who is the daughter of his former major domo. Nallo Ven, Nawara’s father, sacrificed his life to keep Drakka from meeting his death at the hands of an assassin. Nawara was a small girl at the time of her father’s death, and Drakka has taken care of her ever since.
