Eamon Lar was the head of the Imperial Training facility on Anaxis until he deserted his posting with five units of Stormtroopers and defected to join up with the Empire in Exile. Eamon saw one too many atrocities under the orders of the Sith. He could no longer tolerate seeing those that he trained to be good stormtroopers being used to subjugate those loyal to the Empire.
General Lar is one of the most wanted men in the Galaxy, as he took with him a great many military secrets with him. There is also a great concern that others will defect when they hear that their former instructor has turned his back on the Sith and has given his support to Emperor Fel.
