Eddix Horn comes from an old Corellian family. His marriage to Jihlarra was purely political and one that he really had little to do, but he does love her. The man understands her better than she thinks he does. It is true that he stays out of her political game, but that is because he wants no part of it. He is an engineer and she is the politician. She doesn't tinker with his inventions, and he doesn't try to charm her friends.
He was made the head of a special project called Death Star. He is rather amused in the fact that the Sith are trying to do what Emperor Palpatine tried and failed with not once but twice. But it lets him do what he loves and it makes his beloved Jihlarra happy.
