Iaco Noor was born on Dendrick, a small backwater world that had once been a Corellian colony. There were not many opportunities for someone on Dendrick. There were pretty much three options: be a victim, join one of the gangs, or be dead. Iaco did what he had to do to survive. He learned to keep quiet and to keep out of sight as much as possible.
While he isn’t a bad shot or even a bad pilot, Iaco is a door man. He has a knack for cracking security systems. He pretty learned that if he could prove his worth, then he didn’t have to be a victim, and he didn’t have to do what he had moral problems with.
The other thing that Iaco is good at is cards. He has a way with most games of chance and how to make sure that chance has less to do with it.
Iaco has always had difficulty finding a place to call his own. He realizes that the only things that he is good at are things that are not exactly legal. The problem with working with criminals is that well their criminals, and you can only trust a criminal so much – especially when you’re one yourself.
Unfortunately for Iaco, he had the misfortune of having crewed on a ship with Grannar a few months before Grannar became a wanted man by the Sith. As a result, Iaco now has a bounty out on his head because of his guilt by association.
He was rescued by the party from incarceration on Rhinnal. Since then, he has been a companion to the group and a backup pilot. He can’t help but to wonder if he would have been better in prison than to be dragged into their crazy world.
