Ludig Vrax is the governor of Corellia. He technically merits the title of Moff and uses it when he must, but most of the time he does not. Ludig was the reigning senator during the rule of the Galactic Alliance. When the Empire took over, he did what he could to smooth the transition over for Corellia and many other worlds. There are many who think that he is a spineless rat that turned his belly up to the Empire at the first opportunity. The truth is that he did so hoping to spare lives.
Ludig is aging and in poor health. He knows that his time is limited and is doing what he can to find a suitable replacement for himself and set them up to take his place. He still has not found the right person and refuses to die until he does.
