Rasi Tuum was the family name of a Cathar Jedi living around 130 ABY who trained Azlyn Rae. This Rasi Tuum had two siblings, Ahn Rasi Tuum, and Zho Rasi Tuum. He survived the Sith invasion and made it to the Hidden Temple, where he was reunited with his former apprentice, Azlyn Rae.
In the final days of the Sith-Imperial War, the Sith Order attacked Coruscant. Rasi told Azlyn to run and meet up with him later. But they never found each other. Rasi survived the attack, and made it off the planet.
Azlyn came to believe that her master was dead. She was later rescued, under unknown circumstances, by an Imperial Knight. The Knights completed her training, and in turn, she swore to become one herself.
Rasi Tumm eventually made his way to the Hidden Temple, a temple that was built by Nat Skywalker and Kol Skywalker.
Seven years after the Massacre at Ossus, with the Second Imperial Civil War underway, Cade Skywalker and his friends arrived at the temple. Imperial Knights had followed them, being led there by none other that Azlyn. While the Knights and Skywalker met with the Jedi High Council, Rasi was reunited with Azlyn. Rasi questioned Azlyn's choice about joining the Imperial Knights. Azlyn said that she had now vowed to serve the Force through the Emperor. Rasi, however, could sense Azlyn's conflicted feelings, and told her that she would always long for the Jedi way in her heart.
After Azlyn went back to her quarters, Rasi was attacked by Jariah Syn, one of Skywalker's friends. Jariah was seeking revenge for his father's 'murder', but Rasi quickly subdued him by using the force to tangle him in some vines. Jariah angrily explained that he had seen his father's murder when he and Rav had gone to do some trading on Roon. Rasi remembered Zareb at this point, and explained to Jariah what really happened. Jariah came to terms with who his father really was, and Rasi released him. Before Jariah left, Rasi asked if the young girl Rav had taken years ago was alright. Jariah simply said that she wasn't, and left.
