Sora Kaye is the illegitimate daughter of Eddix Horn, making her Jarec's half-sister. She does not know who her father is, nor the political connections that her family might have. She was born to Elda Kaye, who had been a maid in the Horn household. When she found that she was pregnant, she left without a word, fearing what the Mistress of the House might do.
Sora has no idea that the blood of Jedi runs in her veins. She is currently making her living, working as a waitress in a horrid little greasy spoon in the gutters of Corellia. As far as she knows, there is nothing exciting about her life and nothing to look forward to. She is just doing everything that she can to take care of herself and to raise her little brother Ryder.
